Welcome to The Ridge at Lake Tahoe

The Ridge at Lake Tahoe stands as a remarkable mountain resort perched at 7,500 feet on a scenic ridge above Stateline, Nevada. With an impressive 4.3-star rating, it has earned enduring loyalty from guests who return year after year, drawn by its striking valley views and the welcoming spirit embedded in its community. The resort’s unique location offers not only breathtaking natural beauty but also unmatched convenience, highlighted by a private tram that shuttles visitors effortlessly to the Heavenly Ski Resort base lodge.

Guests frequently commend the well-designed rooms, which offer the comforts of home, including fully equipped kitchens perfect for preparing meals after a day outdoors. The layout harmonizes with the mountainous terrain, though visitors should be prepared to navigate stairs or occasionally limited elevator service. Encouragingly, the atmosphere is rich with thoughtful touches—local artists’ work adorning communal spaces adds a layer of authentic regional character to the interiors.

The Ridge’s amenities support an active, engaging stay beyond skiing. A lively complex hosts a range of recreational options such as racquetball, tennis, volleyball, mini golf, pool tables, and even a sauna nestled within the pool area. Housekeeping consistently garners praise, ensuring a clean, comfortable environment throughout one’s visit. Despite some challenges with front desk responsiveness, individual staff members like Eddie provide attentive, personable service that contributes to the sense of being valued.

More than a resort, The Ridge at Lake Tahoe is a repository of cherished memories for many families and long-time interval owners who have witnessed the resort evolve while maintaining its timeless appeal. It encapsulates the spirit of Lake Tahoe’s rugged landscape and vibrant resort culture, striking a balance between adventure and relaxation.

Well this is a massive complex way on top of the hill going just north of state line. Technically it might be in state line. The rooms and the layout is fantastic. Be prepared you may need to take some stairs of some of the small but adequate elevators aren't operating properly. I've included some pictures of one of the rooms that stayed in below.

This has been a home away from home. The rooms are stocked up with a full kitchen with everything needed to cook up a great meal. The view from the room over looks a beautiful valley and at night can see beautiful city lights.

We have maintained an interval ownership at The Ridge Tahoe for over 35 years. It is located on a ridge conveniently located just above Stagecoach base lodge for the Heavenly Ski Resort It has a free small private tram that takes you from the resort to the base ski lift. It doesn’t get more convenient than this. I think the Ridge is the only resort in the United States with a private tram connecting directly to a ski resort. There are naturally hot tubs, saunas, indoor/outdoor pool, etc There is even a small private movie theater at the complex for guests. It also has one, if not the only, indoor tennis court in the area. It also has indoor racquet courts. It is still a top notch resort in the winter.

We are original owners in Naegle buildings that were damaged in snow of 22-23. Re-opened, all looks good except interior decorating of main living area not good. Very cool to be using local artists for decorations! Great family memories here since '85!
